The Muses (Les muses) 1893When we were in Canberra recently we went to the Masterpieces from paris exhibition which was awesome. I have finally seen some of Van Gogh's paintings in real life and they are amazing - the texture and intensity of colours was fantastic. However the highlight for me was discovering Maurice Denis who's paintings feature in this blog. I just loved his work, beautiful colour pallete and art noveau lines. Have to find out more on him!
