'I Made This!'

I am trying my best to win a copy of the Meet Me At Mikes 26 Crafty Projects book. The aim of the game is to post an image of something you have made so I am putting up an image from a series of old works I did on dreams plus some images of detail. I have been meaning to start a section here on my portfolio so this has inspired me!

New Works - Poppy Brooch

I started working on something for the Amelie and Atticus challenge (photography and craft challenge) with the theme of red this week. It's been great as it has inspired me to think in new directions. Below are some images of the brooch I created for the challenge which I am now thinking of selling. The brooch features a vintage button found at the chapel street bazaar and recycled indian silk in the flower.

Bonnie Bluebird

Have been working on a some new birds to sell at The Creative Haven, the first of which is below - Bonnie Bluebird. She needs some legs and accessories (and a better beak!) but is coming along well. I just need to hunt down some old barbie shoes and I was thinking of a hat for her.

Magical Pony Farm

Well things have been a bit busy so it's been hard keeping up with blogging land. We just did the big drive from Melbourne to Canberra and back with a 4 month old baby. Didn't go too badly actually! I haven't been making much at the moment but checking out shops on etsy and had to share this latest find which I am hoping to buy so hands off! The shop is called Magical Pony Farm and here are some of the products I loved.
